By design, our team comprises experienced people from different, but complementary backgrounds. In combination, this experience brings business improvement, board search, general counsel and company secretary insights to all our Board evaluations. 

Compared to many, we work in a different way. Always in pairs, maximising the knowledge and experience we can bring. We don't believe in ticking boxes. Instead, our approach focuses on issues that matter most to each Board we review. When we interview Board members, we like to explore improvement ideas as part of our evaluation process.

We have invested in smart survey tools, developed with experienced Chairs and Non-Executive Directors, designed to get quickly and efficiently to the heart of  issues that may be limiting the Board's effectiveness. This reduces interview time we need with busy Board members, allowing us to focus our evaluation on issues that matter.  

We favour short, succinct reports, focused only on a handful of issues that we think matter. We like providing practical recommendations capable of delivering genuine improvements to the way a Board operates. Additionally, clients benefit from our ability to benchmark each aspect of a Board's performance against our comprehensive database created from our other clients.
